We could not reach the destination on scheduled date as our train from Kolkata got cancelled due to heavy rains, can we get refund for this?

Travelpoint does not have any responsibility in case the client is unable to reach the location /hotel / homestay/ Resort due to any natural calamity, vehicle breakdown, non confirmation of railway or air tickets etc but still we shall try to negotiate with the hotel if they agree to refund anything .

What is your payment policy?

Minimum 50% of the invoice amount are to be paid in advance for booking confirmation.
Minimum 25% of the invoice amount are to be paid in advance for booking confirmation if the total billing amount is more than 1 lakh.
100% of the invoice amount are to be paid before 15 days from the date of Departure.

I have planned a trip with you with my office team of minimum guaranteed 30 heads but now it looks like that we may end up gathering 25 heads only at the maximum, so what is your policy regarding that?

Group tour rates/packages are based on a minimum number of passengers travelling, if the number of heads falls below the minimum figure guaranteed by you , a surcharge may be imposed on all the guests.

Can I directly get in touch with your Suppliers / Vendors / Associates for any inquiry?

Travelpoint may host any package tour in association with any of its associate or subsidiary company or farm and the client does not have any right to interfere into that. If at any point in time if the client is found making an attempt to do so Travelpoint will have all the rights to take any action as per their understanding pertaining to that.

How much safety would you guarantee in case of an adventure tour?

Travelpoint is not responsible for any mishap related to adventure tours, adventure sports, jungle trek, & forest safari as availing of these services is itself the consent of the client that they are doing it at their own responsibility and conscience.

Can the hotel authority cancel my booking in case of any natural calamity or political Issues or any other crisis?

Cancellation of the booking may happen anytime by the hotel due to any kind of unavoidable circumstances hence Travelpoint is not responsible for the same but Travelpoint will always try their level best to arrange an alternative at any situation favourable or unfavourable but Travelpoint can not guarantee the same. Travelpoint will also try their level best to arrange best possible refunds to the client in case of a booking cancellation by their vendors.

What is Your child policy?

Child Policy is decided absolutely at the discretion of the hotel and we are not responsible for any issues pertaining to the child policy, hence parents are requested to carry the DOB proof of the child as the hotel has got all the rights to ask for it. However any child below 5 years of age is considered to be a minor and generally it is not charged by the Hotel but it may vary from hotel to hotel.

What if any kind of mishap happens during the tour like an accident, Theft of luggage or passport or anything of that sort?

Travelers are requested to have the awareness of travel Insurance and seek assistance for the same to Travelpoint.

Does each one of need to produce our Identity proofs to the hotel at the time of check in if we are travelling in a Group?

All the travelers are requested to carry the proof of identity and address along with them, in case of foreign tours they are requested to check their passports validity and authenticity .You are also requested to be aware of the Visa policy well before the departure date.

What are your refund Policies in case of cancellation?

Travelpoint has all the rights to decide on the amount to be refunded against cancellation as it is absolutely depending on the cancellation policy of the concerned Hotels/ Resorts/ Homestays/ Guest Houses / Car Rental Agencies/ or any other service providers.

  • Rates are not valid during any exhibition and supplements dates.
  • Rates are subject to change in case of any hike in airport taxes, visa fee, fuel charges, hotel rates, transport rates or government taxes
  • Early check in and late check-out is subject to availability and charges.
  • Tour/ packages/prices are subject to change anytime and without any notice due to currency fluctuations, tariff changes or increase in operational costs. What all documents do I need to produce for Visa processing?

  • Colored Scan copy of passport 1st Page and Address Page (Observation Page if any).
  • Colored Scan Photograph, (35mm x 45mm, 80% face, wearing dark coloured dress against a white background.
  • Confirmed return Ticket.

What are your general Inclusions or Exclusions of a Package Tour?

Inclusions

  • Dedicated vehicle with driver cum guide
  • All local sightseeing possible within time limit
  • All accommodations
  • All meals (Depends on the Meal Plan you choose APAI / MAPAI / CPAI / EPAI)
  • All transfers
  • Meeting and Assistance at the airport / Railway Station/ Bus Stand

Exclusions:

  • Entry and passes
  • Flight Fare/ Train Fare/ Bus Fare etc
  • Tips
  • Parking fees and toll taxes
  • Camera and Handycam charges
  • Other taxes or service charges when applicable.
  • Visa & others - Any expenses of a personal nature.
  • Any other expenses not mentioned above
  • Any damage to Hotel Properties / Vehicles or anything of that nature.
